Task
Create a bold and distinctive identity for Conspiracy Ink that could cut through an oversaturated tattoo market and move the brand beyond a standard portfolio-led social presence into something far more recognisable and ownable.
Approach
Create both a static logo and animated motion identity, ensuring the brand system felt memorable, ownable and optimised for digital-first use. Develop a visual language rooted in symbolism, intricate detailing and a darker, more enigmatic tone, aligning the identity with the artist’s style while giving the brand a stronger sense of personality and presence. Design the motion logo not simply as an enhancement, but as a strategic brand asset for social content, using glitch-led animation, layered distortion and abrupt transitions to reinforce the conspiracy theme and increase recognisability across digital platforms.
Result
Deliver a more distinctive and strategically effective brand presence that helped establish Conspiracy Ink as a more recognisable name within the tattoo space. The rebrand contributed to a 74% increase in social engagement, a 58% rise in post shares and a 62% uplift in profile visits within the first three months, while bookings increased by 36% as the new identity helped build stronger credibility and demand. Video-based content also benefited from improved reach and retention, with the motion-led assets helping posts travel further and perform harder. The identity shifted the brand from a personal portfolio presence to something with far stronger recognition and commercial pull.
